Student Emergency Fund
The LGBTQIA Resource Center and Georgia Tech Lavender Alumni (GTLA) Affinity Group collaborated on the creation of this emergency fund for students at Georgia Tech. Compared to their peers, LGBTQIA students are more likely to face financial struggles than any other group (TD Ameritrade, 2018). This fund will provide students with mini grants to assist with unexpected expenses, such as emergency housing or food. GTLA and the LGBTQIA Resource Center aim to remove some of the financial barriers our students face allowing these students to focus on their academic success. Through your support of this fund, you will support the success of students at Georgia Tech.
If you would like to donate specifically to the E-fund, you must denote that on the Giving to a Special Purpose form.

Online donations are always accepted! You can make your donation by visiting the "Giving to a Special Purpose" page. When completing your donation, please make your donation to the "LGBTQIA Resource Center" in the "special purpose" section.
By Mail
Download our giving form, print it out, and mail it in with your check.

Faculty and Staff Giving
Give via Payroll Deduction
Log in to Techworks
Click to expand "My Payroll and Compensation" on the left side of the screen, then click "Payroll and Compensation Home."
Click on Faculty/Staff fund
Click on Add Pledge
In the box labeled "Faculty/Staff Designation Code," enter 35B231
Enter the deduction amount and click Save
Give via Faculty/Staff Roll Call
Open the online Roll Call form.
Under Gift Information, please click the button next to "Please select the area(s) in which you wish to give."
A box will appear on the page. In the search box, enter LGBTQIA.
Select the LGBTQIA Resource Center from the options that appear.
Complete the rest of the form and submit.
