Georgia Tech’s LGBTQIA Resource Center is a safe and welcoming place for people of all gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations. As a joint initiative between Institute Diversity and Student Life, the Center serves as a resource for the entire campus, including faculty and staff.
Our goal is to ensure that all LGBTQIA employees find support and community in the Center. We recognize and honor the diversity of our queer community, so this isn’t the kind of place where you have to check part of your identity at the door. In the Center, we aim to create a space where you can truly be your whole authentic self—free from judgment. The LGBTQIA Resource Center provides events, services, and resources for LGBTQIA employees.
In partnership with the Pride Employee Resource Group, we also offer social and professional development programs for faculty and staff, including allies.
On June 16th, 2020, the LGBTQIA Resource Center along with the Division of Student Life and Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion hosted a town hall for faculty and staff to get to know the new Director, Tegra Myanna! Watch the recorded session below.
