Big Gay Brunch

Monday, 7 October
Peachtree Room

RSVP REQUIRED - see below for details

The LGBTQIA Resource Center is excited to host the second Big Gay Brunch in honor of OUT Week 2019!

We hear from so many LGBTQIA students that they want to get to know more LGBTQIA faculty and staff at Georgia Tech - so let's make it happen!

Sign-up will open soon for the Big Gay Brunch, a celebration of Tech's LGBTQIA community. The aims of the BGB are to:

  • increase visibiltiy of LGBTQIA employees on campus to foster a greater sense of community and support for and among LGBTQIA students
  • build connections across queer generations at Tech
  • create space for students, faculty, and staff to learn from one another about issues facing them on campus and off

We are seeking:

LGBTQIA faculty and staff to serve as Table Hosts. The role of Table Hosts is to engage students at your table in conversations. There will be 2-3 Table Hosts and 3-5 students per table. We will provide you with conversation prompts and getting-to-know-you questions to generate fun, insightful, and engaging conversations.

LGBTQIA students who want to build community with LGBTQIA faculty and staff, share stories, and engage in interesting conversations across generations.

RSVP is required so we know how much food to order. Please do not RSVP unless you know you will attend. Due to the cost of catering an event of this size, we need an accurate headcount for ordering food. No-shows mean that the Center wastes food and money. Thanks for your understanding.
