QPoC Meet-Ups

QPoC Spring 2019 Meet-Up: Taco Night

Wednesday, 6 March
LGBTQIA Resource Center

RSVP is required

Come join other queer students of color for a night of tacos and conversation! This is a great way to de-stress with friends and get to know other queer students of color on campus. We'll have a stash of board games, movies, and discussion questions for you to choose from if you would like to utilize those resources.

Please RSVP so we can plan for the food and space accordingly.

Note: Because of the cost involved in the catering, we ask that you honor your RSVP by showing up on the night. No-shows may result in you being charged for your share of the catering cost.

What are QPoC Meet-Ups?

The LGBTQIA Resource Center coordinates one to two QPoC Meet-Ups per semester to provide opportuities for LGBTQIA students of color to build connections and create community with one another.

These meet-ups might include:

  • social events like art nights and trips to the movies
  • healing circles to cultivate skills for resilience and self-love
  • trips to museums, landmarks, and exhibits to learn about shared histories
